Mayor Parker Rescinds Stage Two Water Shortage Measures
Water Wise Methods Still Encouraged
Houston Mayor Annise Parker and the Public Works and Engineering Department of the City of Houston have lifted the mandatory water conservation measures imposed last summer. The move follows recent rains and cooler temperatures, which have increased lake levels in all three drinking water reservoirs. As the City continues to experience severe drought conditions, a special thanks to Houston residents for all of your efforts to date and please continue voluntary water conservation.According to the National Weather Service, the Houston area remains in severe to exceptional drought. ALL IMPROVEMENTS SUCH AS DRIVEWAYS, EXTERIOR PAINTING, ROOM ADDITIONS, ETC. MUST BE APPROVED BY FILING A REQUEST FOR IMPROVEMENTS. It is mandatory to fill out this form and send it to Sterling Association Services for approval. The request for emprovement form can be downloaded HERE.

Kingwood Farmer's Market will take place every Thursday at Town Center Park.
Vendors will have fresh produce, flowers, breads and baked goods, fruits, homemade items and much more.
